Bloggers' status

Let's talk about some opinions about bloggers as this blog is so-called "Blogger-united". Blog is a popular trend prodused by the Web 2.0 wave. A person(sorry as I forgot his name) had said: "The gravity of information technology is not TECHNOLOGY, but INFORMATION." Thus, reformation of Web 2.0 is a must in the process of information-changing in the internet world.

Blogging is a symbol of active internet users. Beside sharing life experience, it is used to share literature masterpiece, news information...I always discover many people just reproduce informations from other websites into their entire blog, so they can name themselves are bloggers. Yes, they are bloggers, but this reflect part of a phenomenon namely toilet culture or junk culture of internet critised by many scholars. Blog is a trend, but not a must, greatly hope that every blogger treats blog seriously. It is not a good feeling viewing a blog wholly full of information reproduced from others but not original.

Blogger organizations are available before. Why bloggers should be united as each of them express own opinions? I've senior who is a Chinese blogger, organising a Chinese bloggers union. Many activities like gathering and singing competition are held by him to let those bloggers exchange blogging views and experience. Meaningful. Plus, one more "Bloggers United" is available to unite political bloggers. You know, Jeff Ooi, Raja Petra, and many more are always critised by government officers beside sued by individuals and printing media. Hardly can we expect when government will make a law for internet censorship to decrease freedom area of internet speech. So, "No Fear" is the united's slogan.

I think, no matter what the type of blogger we are, just be willing to learn something in process of blogging. Interesting, funny, and what matter the most is, learn to be fearless to express your opinion and view to the public.
